I love finding fun projects that fit into our homeschool curriculum. It’s like double fun. Today, over at Tipnut, I learned how to make an avocado tree and I knew I had to do this with the kiddos. First of all, it’s super sciency. Second, we loooove avocados. Third, gardening is a great life skill (not to mention a lesson in managing money and other resources). This was such a great find that I thought I should share it with you!
First, you need an avocado. Take out the pit, wash it and pat dry. Set it in an open space where it can dry thoroughly over the next few days. When it’s completely dry, remove the skin.
