Quick Deal at CVS

On Saturdays, I try to get any last minute deals before the sales change.  Today, I grabbed this one.  It’s not really a last minute deal because it’s been available all week.  I just haven’t had time to get it.

What I bought:

2 Kellogg’s Raisin Bran 2/$4 ($1 ECB wyb 2) = $4

2 U by Kotex Liners, 18 ct. $1.57 = $3.14

Total before coupons: $7.14

Coupons used:

$1/2 Kellogg’s All Bran, Rice Krispies, Corn Flakes and/or Raisin Bran printable

(2) $2/1 U by Kotex product printable

Total: $3 (if your CVS adjusts the Kotex coupon down to $1.57).  You will get $1 ECB back, so $2 for those four items?  Eh, not too bad.  The cash register will read those Kotex coupons at $2 without beeping or anything (it does beep at some coupons with overages, but it didn’t with this one), so if your cashier doesn’t adjust them down, you will get everything for $1.14 after ECBs.

CVS Trip

I know I promised a CVS post last week, but between kiddos, work, school, and allergies, I didn’t get much of anything done.  By the time I got around to posting the great deals I got, the week was almost over and most of the shelves were picked clean.  I have at least one more trip planned for this week, but I thought I’d get this up, in case anyone wanted to grab some of it today.

Pretty good deals at CVS today.  I got all this free, and you can get it pretty cheap, as well.  I did it all in one transaction, so this isn’t one of my super duper long posts.  Read it quickly, and then you can grab your own coupons, trot your little selves over to CVS, and get these great deals.  I started out with $9 ECBs, but you should do okay even if you don’t have any ECBs.

CVS Trip 11/24

This was the best CVS trip ever because my little sister was here to go with me!!  YAY!!

This is what we got:

There was this awesome deal on Revlon lipstick that I caught mid-week (and didn’t get around to posting).  The lipstick was $6.98, but you got $4 ECBs.  Jessica and I got 4 lipsticks out of that deal, and ended with $4 ECBs.  It also put me over my $50 mark (again) in the CVS Beauty Club ($5 ECBs for every $50 you spend on beauty products).  AND there was a deal that got me 2 free Snickers bars and left me with $1.50 in ECBs.  That means that I started this week’s sales with $10.50 in ECBs.

Transaction #1

2 Dimetapp Cold & Cough syrup, 4 oz. $10/2 ($3 ECB wyb 2) Continue reading »

How I Score at CVS

Some of you may have seen my occasional post on Facebook about how I get soooo much stuff for free at CVS.  A few of you have asked me to explain how I do it, so I thought I’d go ahead and do that fairly quickly.

Step 1) ALWAYS buy the Sunday paper.  The only exception is if there aren’t any coupon inserts that week.  There usually won’t be any on holiday weekends, but not necessarily.  Memorial Day = no coupons.  Mother’s Day = awesome coupons.  So check. Continue reading »
